Another day in Paradise...I WISH!

Ok seriously it should be warmer than 30 degress by now. My plants are getting confused and so are the birds. They keep flying back and forth because everytime they just get settled here it turns cold again...tonight they are saying we have a chance of snow and just the day before we had severe thunderstorms and a tornado watch YIKES! it's like mother nature is having severe mood swings, maybe it's hormones.

Ok that's enough for me I might seriously have to consider moving as much as I love living here. This year has just been one bizzare year for weather at least here in the midwest.

The search for Skittles ... not the edible kind.

So just the other day I stumbled upon the cricut MB and they happen to mention these embellishments they call skittles that were sooo great that I had to go out in search of these amazing wonders driving from here to there not knowing what the result of this quest will be...as I go from one place to the other I look around seeing if others are also in the search. I steady myself sharpening my radar ready to pounce when I come upon it. I felt like a woman possesed out there searching for "skittles" and at last conquest! I actually let out an audible sound of glee as I spotted then in a bin at M's...after that I had to head home (I was starting to scare people). I figured that is enough excitement for the day.

My son was starting to give me looks of concern from his car seat as we traveled home... :) what he must be thinking.

Mission accomplished! now on to the next conquest hmmmm now let's see ... I wonder what it could be ... Paper? fibers? cartridges? one never knows and therein lies the excitement...stay tuned

Spring where are you?

Well here we are, almost May and we are still hearing threats of SNOW!!! yes these are just the few unexpected things that come along when you live in the Midwest. Oh well...

I am currently painting my studio/scrapbook room. I decided it should all be sunny happy colors so it is currentlly lime green, teal, yellow and ocean blue. I know it sounds odd but it makes me smile when I walk in there so I LOVE it! So even if the weather is gloomy outside I can walk into my studio and feel happy. I will have to post pictures once I move everything into place and all the paint is dry. I am sooooo excited because my DH built me a wall peg unit to help me organize all my supplies, he says that if I see it all before me I wouldn't be tempted to buy more stuff....
I love him for that... suuuure honey I will just look around the scrapbook store :) just like he just browses the aisle's at our local Lowe's uh-huh... ; ) gotta give him credit for trying...
